About GiveCampus

GiveCampus is the world's leading fundraising platform for non-profit educational institutions, trusted by millions of donors and 1,300+ colleges, universities, and K-12 schools. Our mission is to help advance the quality, affordability, and accessibility of education. At our current pace, we will facilitate $100 billion in charitable giving over the next decade—enough to send more than 1 million students to college, tuition-free.

GiveCampus is backed by leading investors including Y Combinator and practices Sustainable Growth. We’ve made the Inc. 5000 list of America's fastest-growing private companies each of the last five years and have been profitable nine of the last ten. In 2025, we celebrated a $140 million growth investment, including a major liquidity event for employees—the second in less than three years.

Our purpose-driven team of 130+ is distributed across 30+ states in the U.S., with a remote-first culture. We have a 12,000 sq. ft. office in Washington, DC, available for use, and regularly organize team meet-ups, partner visits, and retreats. While operating at scale, we remain small relative to the opportunities ahead, with every employee playing a meaningful role in shaping the future—including a $100 million investment in AI product development.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Business Development Representative—an outreach all-star who thrives on hustle and building relationships. This role involves creatively and persistently engaging schools, qualifying leads, and setting up product demos. You’ll have autonomy to own your pipeline, identify improvements, and drive team-wide enhancements.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth within a territory of prospective partner schools
  • Exercise discretion in researching, identifying, and engaging high-potential prospects
  • Conduct discovery calls, qualify leads, and assess readiness for demos
  • Create and execute tailored outreach strategies across phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels
  • Partner with marketing to develop and deploy custom communications and campaigns
  • Analyze performance data to identify patterns and recommend improvements to outreach tactics
  • Execute strategic projects to grow GiveCampus and refine our go-to-market approach
  • Contribute to a team culture focused on results, continuous learning, and innovation

Requirements

  • At least one year of professional experience in a top-of-funnel B2B sales role or 2+ years in a B2C environment (Salesforce or CRM experience strongly preferred)
  • Creative, strategic thinker with high emotional intelligence (EQ)
  • A “Challenger” mindset—unafraid to ask “why?” and handle objections with poise
  • Unflappable determination in the face of adversity (you will hear "no" more than "yes")
  • Metrics-driven; someone who likes to put up numbers and “win the day”
  • A demonstrated record of exceeding targets
  • Meticulous organization skills and the ability to reprioritize quickly
  • Passion for education, technology, and philanthropy
  • An open-minded, engaging personality and a healthy sense of humor

Nice to Have

  • Experience in advancement/development or alumni relations at an educational institution
  • Demonstrated expertise with crowdfunding, peer-to-peer fundraising, or other fundraising activities
  • Success in selling into the education market

Location

This is a remote-first role based in the U.S. While we embrace flexible, distributed work, team members are expected to attend multiple company-wide and team-specific onsites throughout the year.
