The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for driving growth by generating new business, managing existing key referral relationships, and expanding the company's presence across commercial, agents, adjusters, hospitality, education, senior living and property management.

This role combines strategic outreach, relationship management, industry networking, and sales execution. The BDR promotes the company as the trusted partner for restoration, mitigation, and reconstruction services while supporting clients through the insurance claims process.

Position Summary

The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for driving growth by generating new business, managing existing key referral relationships, and expanding the company's presence across commercial, agents, adjusters, hospitality, education, senior living and property management.

This role combines strategic outreach, relationship management, industry networking, and sales execution. The BDR promotes the company as the trusted partner for restoration, mitigation, and reconstruction services while supporting clients through the insurance claims process.

This is a high-visibility, growth-oriented position within a recession-resistant industry.

Requirements

  • Education & Experience:
    • High school diploma or GED required
    • 3+ years of outside sales experience preferred.
    • Experience in restoration, insurance, experience in selling to agents/adjusters, commercial services, and property management is a plus but not required.
  • Skills & Requirements:
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to present professionally to groups and executives.
    • Highly organized with strong time-management skills.
    • Experience with CRM systems and basic reporting functions.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
    • Relationship-driven, self-motivated, and able to work independently and within a team.
    • Valid driver's license required.
    • Willing to attend evening networking activities 1-2 times per month
    • Outgoing, driven, collaborative personality with a focus on long-term relationship building.
