Business Development Representative
About the role
The Business Development Representative (BDR) is a critical, quota-carrying, entry-level sales role responsible for generating a qualified sales pipeline. The BDR will be the first point of contact for prospective high-value clients, primarily focusing on outbound prospecting (cold calls, emails, and social outreach) to identify decision-makers, nurture interest, and set discovery meetings for the Account Executive (AE) team.
Responsibilities
- Execute the full range of prospecting activities, including high-volume cold calling (75+ calls per day), personalized email campaigns, and outreach to identify, qualify, and engage leads.
- Follow a structured, multi-channel sales cadence (e.g., the 26-day sequence) to persistently follow up with prospects and maintain consistent communication.
- Conduct preliminary research on target accounts and use a qualification framework to determine if a prospect is a good fit for the product/service before booking a meeting.
- Schedule and confirm high-quality initial discovery meetings or demonstrations for the Account Executive team.
- Maintain meticulous records of all activities and prospect interactions in the CRM (e.g., Salesforce) to ensure accurate reporting and smooth handoffs to Account Executives.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or performance-based role.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex value propositions clearly and concisely (especially over the phone).
- A proven track record of handling rejection and maintaining a positive, energetic attitude in a high-activity environment.
- Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
- Highly self-motivated, results-oriented, and eager to learn the fundamentals of B2B sales.

Pay
The base salary offered for this position is determined by several factors, including the applicant’s job-related skills, relevant experience, education or training, and work location. The base salary for this full-time remote role is annualized at $30,000 + $12,000 in uncapped commission.
