Business Development Representative

About the role

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will drive awareness of Crunchtime’s products with leaders at well-known restaurant chains. We will teach you the latest sales techniques to engage and build relationships with executives across different brands.
Responsibilities
- Support emerging and national enterprise restaurant and convenience brands by helping them identify areas where they can improve customer experience or increase profitability.
- Conduct cold calls to identify business challenges that restaurant leaders have and convert these into introductory meetings with Account Executives.
- Follow up with leads that have expressed interest in Crunchtime’s products to convert them into introductory meetings with Account Executives.
- Leverage LinkedIn for social selling by:
- Connecting with restaurant leaders within your territory.
- Building your brand and promoting Crunchtime with consistent social posts.
- Using direct messages, videos, and voice notes in LinkedIn messages to engage prospects.
- Using SalesNav to identify contacts who have previous history with Crunchtime.
- Use Gong Engage to manage prospecting tasks, strengthen email copywriting with AI, identify top-performing emails, review AI-generated feedback for improvement, and capture account information for re-engagement.
- Leverage Marketing Campaigns to capture the attention of prospects.
- Use Salesforce to manage your territory and identify previous engagement opportunities.
- Use dashboards and reports to manage leads with the highest potential to convert to meetings and achieve your quota.
- Meet weekly with team members to strategize on engaged contacts and share best practices.
- Use techniques such as multi-threading, storytelling, mirroring, labeling, and objection handling.
- Meet monthly quota for qualified meetings and quarterly quota for opportunities created on a consistent basis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 9-12 months experience in outbound sales and cold calling.
- History of exceeding quota in a previous role.
- Strong desire to be in sales.
- Competitive drive and boldness.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work cross-functionally across teams (sales, product, customer success).
- Ability to speak with VP and C-Level Executives and influence them.
- Self-sufficient, self-motivated, and consistently strives for excellence.
- Seeks opportunities to learn and develop skillset outside of formal training/enablement.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and adapt quickly.
- Values hard work and fast-paced environments.

Nice to haves

- Previous experience in restaurants.
- Sales internship or degree in sales.

Pay
The anticipated annualized base salary range for this full-time position is $45,000 to $55,000 plus a variable compensation range of $28,000 to $32,000 governed by the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (which includes certain annual non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives). Actual compensation is based on factors unique to each candidate, including job-related skills, qualifications, education, experience, and location.
