About the role
The Business Development Representative is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the designated territory. This includes prospecting potential clients, managing the sales pipeline, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful client onboarding and retention.
Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify leads through various channels including cold calling, email outreach, and networking events.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in target accounts.
- Present company solutions to potential clients, addressing their needs and objections.
- Manage the sales pipeline from initial contact to closing deals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing support for clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
