Business Development Representative
Job Summary
The Business Development Representative (BDR), Managed Services at AMN Healthcare is responsible for generating qualified enterprise-level leads and building a pipeline of prospective healthcare clients for AMN's Managed Service Program (MSP) solutions. This role focuses on outbound prospecting, lead generation, client discovery, and appointment setting with healthcare decision-makers.
Job Responsibilities
- Generate qualified leads through outbound prospecting, cold calling, email campaigns, networking, referrals, and marketing-generated opportunities
- Identify and engage healthcare organizations, hospitals, health systems, and other prospective clients
- Schedule discovery meetings and introductory conversations for AMN Business Development leaders
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective MSP opportunities
- Client Discovery & Qualification
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand client workforce challenges, staffing needs, current programs, and business objectives
- Identify decision-makers and key stakeholders involved in purchasing decisions
- Educate prospective clients on AMN's Managed Service Program (MSP) offerings and workforce solutions
- Qualify opportunities and ensure alignment with ideal customer profiles
- CRM & Pipeline Management
- Maintain accurate prospect, client, and activity records within Salesforce
- Track outreach activity, pipeline progression, and appointment outcomes
- Monitor lead conversion metrics and support reporting requirements
- Sales & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Business Development, Marketing, and Account Management teams to develop prospecting strategies and target accounts
- Identify opportunities to introduce additional AMN solutions and services
- Support proposal, presentation, and sales activities as needed
- Maintain awareness of healthcare staffing trends, market dynamics, and competitive activity

Qualifications
- Education & Years of Experience: High School Diploma/GED plus 2-5 years of relevant experience
- Required Experience:
- Experience in sales, business development, lead generation, recruiting, or customer-facing roles
- Experience conducting outbound prospecting activities, including phone, email, and networking outreach
- Experience utilizing CRM systems such as Salesforce
- Proven ability to meet activity-based or performance-based goals
- Preferred Experience:
- Experience in healthcare staffing, workforce solutions, or managed services
- Familiarity with Managed Service Programs (MSP), Vendor Management Systems (VMS), or healthcare workforce solutions
- Experience engaging healthcare leaders and executive stakeholders
- Experience in consultative or solution-based sales environments
Qualifications
- Education & Years of Experience: High School Diploma/GED plus 2-5 years of work experience
- Additional Experience:
- Experience in understanding of Managed Service Programs (VMS, RPO, Hospital Technology, and MSP offerings)
- C-Suite level sales engagement experience
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
Work is performed in an office/home office environment. Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.

Pay Rate
$58,000 - $72,000 Salary Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location. This position may include additional compensation such as bonus or commission. Please ask your recruiter for more information.
