About The Role
Business Development Representative (BDR) Location: On-site in NYC
Key Responsibilities
- Run high-volume, multi-channel outbound campaigns across prospective customers, testing and refining messaging, cadence, and channel mix to continuously lift response rates
- Surface and warm interested prospects, handing them off to senior acquisition executives with context
- Monitor high-intent signals and respond the moment they fire, engaging and qualifying prospects fast before intent cools
- Routinely qualified, high-intent opportunities straight to senior acquisition executives
- Research prospects that arrive with limited information, using internal and public sources to build an accurate, complete profile
- Verify the right individual and flag duplicates so records stay clean, prioritizing the highest-potential prospects so each reaches the right owner
- Run a high volume of calls, texts, and personalized emails every day
- Quickly assess engagement, intent, and fit before handing off, so Acquisition Execs are spending their time on real conversations, not cold leads
- Own the handoff end to end -- the opportunity is not done until it is warm, informed, and successfully routed to the right exec
Qualifications
- 0 to 2 years of professional experience; internships or customer-facing/sales experience a plus
- Strong communicator, up and down the org -- can clearly report results and blockers to leadership and just as clearly coordinate day to day with peers and execs
- Hungry and resilient -- willing to put in the volume, take the reps, handle rejection, and keep grinding
- Coachable and growth-minded -- applies feedback fast and is transparent about wanting to be promoted
- Organized under volume -- can juggle scaled campaigns, real-time triggers, and manual enrichment work without dropping the ball
- Team player first -- collaborates well with Acquisition Execs, marketing, and data teams supporting this motion
- Comfortable with high call/message volume and CRM tools
- Interest in sports betting/gaming industry a plus
