Responsibilities
- Collaborate with programmatic leadership and faculty/principal investigators to plan, develop, and coordinate meeting current grant requirements and milestones, including submission of progress reports, annual budgets, final program and financial reports, and ensuring subgrants/contracts and/or consultancies are processed.
- Plan project renewals and communications strategy for programs.
- Work with senior management in developing program goals and milestones for growth.
- Coordinate proposal and narrative development for grant submissions/proposals for various agencies and funders, including NIH, CDC, and non-governmental donors. Ability to write both scientifically and for a lay audience is expected.
- Plan and coordinate daily program activities, including monitoring relationships with outside agencies or subcontractors.
- Provide advanced administrative support to programmatic leadership and faculty/PIs, including research and financial data analyses, program coordination and monitoring, data collection, database creation, reports, and recommending process improvements.
- Monitor and maintain relationships with contractors, partners (foreign and domestic), state agencies, and sponsors to ensure compliance with work plan and deliverables.
- Manage proposal development for smaller opportunities throughout the proposal development lifecycle and support the Director of Health Program/Administrator and Faculty in preparing complex grant submissions, including preparing biosketches/CVs, facilities/equipment/capacity statements, “other support” documents, outlines, gathering and summarizing data, writing or editing proposal sections, making assignments, developing partner scopes of work, and reviewing proposal drafts to ensure alignment and consistency.
- Provide advanced support to the Director, faculty, and country leaders in identifying, analyzing, and pursuing business development opportunities.
- Develop and facilitate meetings, proposal design sessions, and/or presentations with high impact on participants, including coordinating logistics, scheduling, and participant communications.
- Manage program activities through delegation of assignments to staff; may mentor other support staff.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Four (4) years of program oversight including program planning, budget, and coordination
- Minimum of 4 years of grant writing experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred

Pay
$85,000 - $95,000, commensurate with education and experience
