Business Development Manager - Western Region

For a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space, we are seeking a Business Development Manager to support revenue growth through customer focus, relationship development, and disciplined commercial execution. This role offers the opportunity to strengthen market execution, customer relationships, and measurable business results within a manufacturing environment.

About the role

You will collaborate with sales, customer, product, and operational partners to identify opportunities, solve problems, and improve outcomes.

Location: Remote – US-based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prioritize sales activities to meet business goals
• Develop and maintain customer relationships for service quality and growth
• Update customer information in contact management systems
• Execute local marketing activities aligned with budgets and schedules
• Learn and master all aspects of the sales process and services offered
• Respond to and follow up on sales inquiries using appropriate methods
• Collaborate with business development to present services to target customers
• Monitor market and competitor activities for reporting
• Communicate and negotiate internally and externally for business development
• Attend external and internal meetings to aid business development

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred
• Minimum five years in product sales or technical account management
• Experience in utilities, manufacturing, or infrastructure solutions is ideal
• Proven communication skills with end-users and understanding their needs
• Ability to manage sensitive inquiries or complaints effectively
• Experience researching companies and understanding supply chain challenges

Pay

$106,500 – $146,500 annually
