Business Development Manager, Technology & Industry

Law firm is seeking a Business Development Manager to focus on business development initiatives for their Technology group. This position is open to candidates located in Palo Alto or San Francisco. Duties And Responsibilities Partner with senior attorneys and firm leadership to develop and execute business development and marketing strategies aligned with firm goalsDevelop and monitor business plans, budgets, goals, and key milestones for assigned practice and industry groupsIdentify and pursue business development opportunities with existing clients and prospectsDevelop targeted pitches, RFP responses, presentations, and other client-facing materialsTrack and report on business development activities, opportunities, pitch outcomes, and return on investmentConduct market and competitive research to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for growthSupport client relationship management efforts and assist with strengthening key client relationshipsCoordinate cross-practice business development initiatives, lateral integration efforts, sponsorships, speaking opportunities, thought leadership, and CLE programsSupport firm and practice group events, including planning, logistics, communications, and follow-upPrepare and maintain client lists, matter descriptions, website content, brochures, directory submissions, award submissions, and other marketing materialsAssist with client alerts, newsletters, and other external communicationsDevelop and maintain targeted client and prospect mailing lists in coordination with the CRM teamWork closely with and assist in the supervision and development of business development specialists Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree Minimum of 5+ years of professional services marketing and business development experience required; law firm experience highly preferredExperience supervising or mentoring staff is a plusProficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel required; Salesforce experience is a plus Hire Options Inc. and its clients are equal opportunity employers.
