Business Development Manager - Residential BDM

About the role

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will play a crucial role in expanding Handy Butler's residential renovation and handyman services across Ottawa and surrounding communities.

Responsibilities

• Generate new leads for residential renovation and handyman services
• Promote Handy Butler Co. Inc. services to homeowners
• Introduce and promote the HandyPoints Loyalty Program
• Build referral relationships with homeowners, real estate professionals, and investors
• Promote services through legal marketing channels including social media, referrals, and local networking
• Submit qualified leads to the office for project follow-up
• Represent the Handy Butler brand professionally

Requirements

• Knowledge of the residential renovation industry
• Familiarity with kitchen, bathroom, deck, and interior renovations
• Experience in sales, networking, or business development
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated and results-driven personality

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in construction or home renovation
• Existing network in the Ottawa residential market
• Experience with lead generation or marketing
• Knowledge of social media marketing strategies
