Job Summary and Responsibilities
An experienced, dynamic business development manager with a focus on Mobility RAN Integration and Mobile Private Networks to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding our business into new regions, particularly with Tier 1 telecom operators in the US and enterprise customers. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong industry relationships and the ability to travel for customer meetings and conferences.
- Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities with Tier 1 telecom operators and enterprise customers in the US.
- Relationship Management: Leverage existing industry relationships to foster new partnerships and strengthen current ones.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business growth targets.
- Customer Engagement: Conduct meetings with potential and existing customers to understand their needs and present tailored solutions.
- Proposal Development: Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
- Industry Presence: Attend industry conferences and events to network, stay updated on market trends, and represent the company.
- Collaboration: Work closely with technical teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of solutions.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on business development activities and progress to senior management.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Telecommunications, or a relevant field is preferred. An MBA or MSEE is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of experience in business development within the telecom industry, specifically in RAN integration and mobile private networks.
- Industry Relationships: Proven track record of strong relationships with Tier 1 telecom operators and enterprise customers.
- Sales Acumen: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex solutions clearly and persuasively.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills with a history of closing high-value deals.
- Travel: Willingness and ability to travel frequently, up to 60 percent of the time for customer meetings and industry events.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of telecom RAN integration, mobile private networks, and related technologies. Deep technical knowledge of telecom infrastructure and emerging technologies in the field.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Certifications: Relevant industry certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL).
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Position Qualifications/Requirements
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Pay Range in the United States
$88K - $130K based upon geography, skills, and experience. May also be eligible for performance incentive opportunity based on company and individual goals and performance.
