Business Development Manager - Pool
About the role
The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth by identifying, prospecting, and securing new business from top-tier accounts. This role requires a strategic sales hunter with a strong ability to engage with senior decision-makers, build lasting relationships, and close high-value deals.
Responsibilities
- Identify and target new high-value business opportunities within top-tier accounts.
- Develop tailored sales strategies to penetrate and win top accounts, with a focus on long-term revenue generation.
- Build and maintain relationships with executives, directors, and other key decision-makers within target organizations.
- Lead end-to-end sales processes from initial contact to closing, including negotiations, contract discussions, and closing deals.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, customer service) to create compelling proposals, presentations, and solutions that meet client needs.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline and accurately forecast sales opportunities using CRM tools.
- Continuously stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activities, and market shifts to inform sales strategies.
- Travel up to 75%.
Requirements
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Strong experience (10+ years preferred) in selling to large enterprises or top-tier accounts, with an emphasis on closing complex, high-value deals.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage with C-level executives.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of professionalism and integrity.
- Strong network within the pool industry is a plus.

Pay
The anticipated annualized base pay range for this full-time position is from $118,400 - $219,900 per year. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs.
Schedule
This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as, annual incentive bonus.
