What You’ll Be Doing
- Work with branch, regional, and corporate leadership to develop business plans.
- Carry out and lead regular meetings with appropriate staff.
- Strategize and share feedback on business development activities.
- Seek out new and nurture existing business relationships.
- Actively seek opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell services.
- Avoid technical and marketing personnel with preparation of client-focused proposals.
- Attend industry-related networking events, trade shows, and conferences.
- Encourage, assist, and direct others to engage in business development related activities.
- Be aware of emerging trends affecting the market.
- Use F&R’s CRM system to share relevant information and research.
What You Need to Have
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Specific relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- 5+ years of successful sales experience in same or related field highly preferred
- Ability to manage numerous assignments and meet deadlines
- Ability to meet self-imposed strategic goals
- Ability to participate in industry events
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Effective communication in both speaking and writing
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software programs including Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Valid US. Driver’s License and good standing driving record
- Willingness to participate in and pass F&R’s pre-employment screening
