Responsibilities

  • Drive disproportionate growth of Summit’s Hydraulic Business by leading strategy and operations, generating new business and developing high-value customer relationships.
  • Lead direct sales efforts by delivering value-based solutions supported by strong application engineering.
  • Monitor market trends and customer needs, translating insights into actionable growth strategies.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Engineering, R&D, Marketing, Pricing, and Supply Chain to support new opportunities and product development.
  • Engage regularly with major OEMs and customers through frequent on-site visits.
  • Support the sales organization through lead generation initiatives, sales tools, training, and market intelligence.
  • Utilize CRM to track opportunities, customer interactions, and industry insights.
  • Represent Summit at industry trade shows, seminars, and association events.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree (Chemical or Mechanical preferred) or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with hydraulic systems operating under high load and high pressure.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, marketing, or product management.
  • Proven ability to grow markets and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (around 50%).
