Business Development Manager - Fuel Sales

Responsibilities
- Understand and perform all processes from lead generation and prospecting to qualifying and closing new accounts
- Conduct consultative sales discussions to assess client needs and present tailored RTS fuel card solutions
- Identify cross-selling opportunities with other RTS and Shamrock divisions to maximize account value
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing customers
- Assist with high-severity requests or issue escalations as needed
- Use all required processes to maximize yield according to strategies established by senior management
- Participate in strategic planning, including market analysis, customer segmentation, and penetration strategies
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market potential to inform and develop documentation for new sales strategies and product positioning
- Collaborate with product marketing to support launches, create sales tools, and deliver compelling presentations
- Track and analyze key metrics to measure performance and refine sales approaches
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of business development experience required
- Demonstrated record of success providing professional, solutions-based sales over the phone
- Experience with high volume (cold calling) and face-to-face sales
- Excellent customer service and project management skills
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, multi-product sales environment
- Attention to detail with an interest in comparative and value analysis

- 5+ years of business development experience

- Ambitious, self-motivated personality with strong communication skills
