About the role

RTS and Shamrock Trading Corporation are looking for a motivated salesperson to join our Business Development team. This role will focus on prospecting, qualifying and securing new business opportunities while expanding relationships with existing accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage consultative sales strategies to present and deliver tailored financial solutions
  • Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities through targeted outreach and strategic prospecting
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless client onboarding and service experience
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, fostering trust and delivering exceptional service
  • Conduct consultative discussions to assess client needs and explain customized financial solutions to prospective clients
  • Assist with high-severity requests or issue escalations as needed
  • Manage and advance a robust sales pipeline to consistently achieve and exceed monthly performance targets
  • Negotiate terms and pricing to maximize profitability on all new business
  • Cross-sell complementary RTS and Shamrock services to deepen client partnerships and increase account value
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to refine sales strategies and maintain a competitive advantage
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of business development experience required
  • Demonstrated record of success providing professional, solutions-based sales over the phone
  • Pioneered strategic mindset with exceptional communication skills
  • Excellent customer service and project management skills
  • Ability to adapt and excel in a fast-paced environment with a multi-product line
  • Attention to detail with an interest in comparative and value analysis

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of business development experience
  • Experience with high volume (cold calling)
  • Financial background
  • Desire to work in a competitive sales and team environment
  • Bilingual skills
  • High-energy with a goal-driven and adaptable personality
