About the role
We are seeking a high-caliber, strategic Business Development Manager (BDM) to spearhead our expansion within the Energy sector. This is not a standard lead-gen role; you will be responsible for architecting and executing long-term growth strategies that increase revenue and brand dominance. You will work at the intersection of sales and marketing to identify high-value partnerships and close complex, multi-level deals within energy sub-markets.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of the energy sector's procurement processes, safety standards, and infrastructure needs.
- Proven track record of managing complex, B2B sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
- Exceptional presentation skills; ability to translate technical product benefits into business value for C-suite executives.
- Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce or HubSpot) and sales enablement tools.
- Ability to interpret market data and generate actionable growth plans.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, private-equity-backed environment where "ownership" and initiative are rewarded.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field required.
- 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in direct-to-end-user sales within the energy or industrial sectors.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills preferred.
