Business Development Manager - Drug Discovery

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for sales of Eurofins Discovery portfolio comprising of chemistry, pharmacology, both products and services within the assigned territory or region with the goal of achieving the sales targets for the region.
• Proficient understanding of the drug discovery process and selling the portfolio to the US client base.
• Possess a minimum education of a B.S. chemistry or pharmacology or related discipline. Experience in products and services for drug discovery. Excellent knowledge of the pharmaceutical drug discovery and development process.
• Understand or prior experience in the CRO market and proven ability to analyze and act on the global business trends to drive regional business development activities.
• Strong presentation skills. Collaborative nature to work with multiple internal stakeholders.
• Ability to travel internationally in a limited capacity (training and customer audits)
• Ability to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship

Qualifications

• 3 + years’ of experience in sales with strong understand of drug discovery and in particular discovery chemistry. Must reside within the assigned territory.
• Understanding of or prior experience in the CRO market and proven ability to analyze and act on the global business trends to drive regional business development activities.

Additional Information

• Salary Range: $115,000 - $130,000/yr.
• The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.- 5 p.m., with overtime as needed.
