Responsibilities

  • Be a driving force to contribute to the continued growth and success of TAG Corporate.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation, qualification, pitching, proposal writing, negotiation, and closing.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for new clients throughout the entire sales cycle.
  • Develop a network of strong connections and use proactive approaches to attract prospective clients.
  • Lead commercial discussions and negotiate pricing and contract terms in alignment with company objectives.
  • Continuously refine and prioritize target segments based on the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) to maximize conversion.
  • Achieve targets of qualified opportunities and set appointments in line with agreed KPIs.
  • Maintain the CRM tool in line with company procedures to clearly track pipeline and customer lifecycles.
  • Actively represent TAG at US based industry events, trade shows, and networking forums to generate new business opportunities and support revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with TAG’s global sales and account management team to share potential leads and collectively support the achievement of Company expansion.
  • Input to plans with Marketing colleagues for social media and brand/company promotions.
  • Liaise with senior management to forecast future sales targets and budgets.
  • Demonstrate a proactive hunter mentality through consistent outbound prospecting, networking, and self-sourced pipeline creation.
  • Adhere to PCI regulations in accordance with Company policy.
  • Uphold TAG’s reputation for high-quality service levels and represent TAG with full professionalism at all times.
  • Understand the TAG service philosophy and company objectives to only pursue compatible leads.
  • Research and remain aware of Sales & Business Development methods to continually develop and adapt suitable knowledge and skills.
  • Adhere to PCI regulations in accordance with Company policy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Education to Degree level or higher in related field (Preferred)
  • In lieu of education, an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the corporate travel market, including local OBTs, competitors, customer priorities and general industry insight. (preferably within a TMC client base)
  • Extensive experience of business development within the corporate industry (preferably in travel)
  • Strong understanding of company values and objectives, strategy execution and delivery
  • Demonstrated success in a similar role in a competitive industry
  • Competent user of Salesforce and/or other CRM equivalent systems
  • Prominent record of working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
