Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory business plan to drive top-line growth, profitability, retention with existing partners, and new agency appointments.
- Travel extensively throughout NY, NJ, and CT to meet with prospective and current agents, delivering product training, marketing support, and relationship management.
- Identify high-potential agencies aligned with Vault’s high-net-worth market and onboard them through a consultative sales approach.
- Collaborate with underwriting, marketing, and service teams to ensure a seamless agent and client experience.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and agency performance to inform strategic decisions.
- Represent Vault at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or agency management within the P&C insurance industry, preferably in the high-net-worth segment.
- Strong knowledge of personal lines insurance products and distribution channels.
- Proven ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with independent agents and brokers.
- Self-starter with excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Comfortable working independently in a field-based role with frequent travel.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
