About the role

Unique Vacations, Inc. is seeking a forward‑thinking Business Development Manager to join its Washington and Montana team. The role focuses on driving bookings for Sandals and Beaches Resorts by building relationships with travel agents, tour operators, and tourist boards.

Responsibilities

• Impact the number of clients booking Sandals and Beaches by servicing, educating, and building relationships at the Travel Agent, Tour Operator, and Tourist Board levels within the assigned territory.
• Grow new business by helping travel agencies develop marketing plans and reach booking goals through the Certified & Preferred Sandals Agency Programs.
• Maintain an outgoing, positive, professional attitude with strong communication and time‑management skills; work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Travel extensively, both domestically and internationally, and manage related documentation.
• Demonstrate computer proficiency: internet navigation, email, laptop use, PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets, and word‑processing.
• Speak publicly and prepare presentations for travel agencies and other audiences.
• Provide excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills for internal and external customers.
• Thrive in a fast‑paced environment, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
• Work under stressful situations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Operate with little to no supervision and collaborate effectively within a team setting.
• Multi‑task and shift direction quickly as priorities change.
• Communicate with management, senior leadership, product, support, and development teams.
• Agree to have image captured for sales and marketing purposes.
• Utilize a personal vehicle with a monthly car allowance (until a company vehicle becomes available) and a personal credit card for reimbursable business expenses.
• Manage a significant amount of administrative work alongside business development and marketing activities.
• Participate in overnight stays and weekend events within the region, including trips to the Caribbean.

Requirements

• Ability to grow business and work under pressure.
• Willingness and ability to drive and travel away from home weekly and extensively as needed.
• Availability to work weekend events and host Caribbean trips, which may involve nights and weekends.
• Self‑motivation and ability to work independently from a home office without direct supervision.
• Strong prioritization, organization, and execution skills for handling multiple activities simultaneously while remaining flexible.
• Professional demeanor in social situations.
• Clear written and oral communication, including public speaking, slide presentations, and webinars to large groups.
• High proficiency with email, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Word, and most social‑media platforms.
• Capability to manage administrative tasks while traveling overnight.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with accounts, peers, and clients.
• Physical ability to lift boxes of collateral up to 50 lb and set up booth displays.
• Maintain an acceptable driving record and possess a valid passport.

Compensation

Base salary of $70,000 per year with additional incentive opportunities.
