Nature of Work
- Manage and Develop Existing Customers
- Provide local point of contact for customers in region to ensure:
- Customer expectations are clearly understood, communicated and met
- Sanmarina’s operations teams and the customer’s teams are well coordinated
- The best business practices are applied to benefit our customers
- Drive communication with existing customers, participate in QBRs, develop customer strategies, and solve problems
- Develop and strengthen relationships with all levels of customer management
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve service and grow revenue
- Work with the customer for timely payments, work through E&O issues, and other out of scope charges/costs
- Develop relationships with customer engineering teams to learn of new opportunities
- Expand Sanmina’s market share with existing customers
- Drive Regional Growth with New Customers
- Accountable for meeting and exceeding sales revenue targets
- Be familiar with the local market, customers and opportunities
- Develop a professional network to help provide identify and pursue opportunities
- Target customers, develop relationships, assess opportunities and win new business
- Work with Quote teams to coordinate quotation activity on new business opportunities
- Support preparation of proposals, meetings and other activities targeted at customer opportunities
Education/Experience Requirements
- 8-10 years of experience in a direct customer sales role supporting a large OEM
- Prior supply chain experience required
- Operational experience a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills is a must
- Bachelor's degree is required; advanced degree is preferred
