Responsibilities
- Independently source and qualify leads across commercial verticals primarily across S&P 500 companies.
- Originate and then lead client conversations from first contact through discovery, proposal, and term sheet.
- Working with executive leadership, support negotiation of commercial documents toward binding agreements.
- Build and maintain a pipeline independently, with an emphasis on quality over volume.
- Develop tailored proposals and external communications.
- Learn the fundamentals of the product itself as well as siting, licensing, and utility energy well enough to speak credibly with customers and identify what it takes to get a deal across the finish line.
- Act as an ambassador for Radiant's mission, values, and brand in every customer interaction.
Required Skills And Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to source national (vs. regional) opportunities independently, not just manage inbound leads.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related commercial role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- US Citizen or green card holder.
- Ability to travel and attend in-person meetings.
Desired Skills And Qualifications
- MBA from top tier school.
- Big 3 management consulting experience can be a plus, if paired with additional direct work in execution.
- Experience selling or developing business around complex hardware or infrastructure with fairly long deal timelines.
- A genuine competitive streak and a track record of doing things that were hard to do.
- Passion for nuclear energy and its role in a carbon-free future.
Additional Requirements
- Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
- Must be willing to travel for short trips (paneling conferences, customer meetings, etc.) 2 to 3 times per month.
- Must work 100% onsite at El Segundo HQ (not negotiable).
