About the role
Responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the government affairs and business development sectors. Key focus on expanding Phoenix Tailings’ market presence and securing partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans to grow the company’s market share
- Identify potential clients and partners in government affairs and business development
- Research and analyze industry trends to inform business strategies
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including government officials, industry leaders, and potential clients
- Prepare and deliver presentations to secure new business opportunities
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of business development activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or government affairs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in public speaking and presenting
Qualifications
- Proven track record of successful business development and/or government relations
- Excellent networking and relationship-building skills
- Strong understanding of regulatory and legislative processes
