Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Generate business opportunities with new and existing customers
  • Maintain a constant flow of RFQs and RFPs for the sales pipeline
  • Support estimating activities with customer follow-up on in-process and submitted quotes and proposals
  • Establish a three-year strategic and tactical sales plan and forecast, with year-over-year growth targets
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships across the customer organization, from buyers to decision makers
  • Build Capture Plans for strategic target programs, part numbers, and customers
  • Represent the company at trade association meetings to promote products and services
  • Lead the sales process across multiple departments, with a focus on core competency programs and parts; provide market and target pricing inputs when available
  • Maintain current awareness of industry intelligence, new programs, customer news, new technology, new requirements, and aircraft platform production rates

Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of sales experience in aerospace manufacturing, strong sales growth experience
  • Familiarity with government and industry regulations and portals a plus, including FARs, DFARs, FAA, SAM, JCP, and similar
