Business Development Manager
About the role
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to grow our market presence in IT services and Low Voltage systems. This role is ideal for a self-starter who enjoys building relationships, creating opportunities, and guiding clients through the entire sales process—from initial outreach to project handoff.
Key Responsibilities
- Possessing the ability to prospect and generate new business opportunities through networking, cold outreach, referrals, and industry events.
- Maintaining a strong sales pipeline across IT and Low Voltage markets.
- Managing the complete sales process from lead generation through contract execution.
- Conducting discovery meetings, presentations, and solution demonstrations tailored to client needs.
- Negotiating proposals and closing new business opportunities.
- Performing site assessments and walk-throughs to understand customer requirements.
- Reviewing plans and specifications to identify technology needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Preparing accurate proposals, project estimates, and bid submissions.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure solutions are competitive, profitable, and aligned with customer expectations.
- Serving as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact throughout the sales process.
- Developing long-term relationships with general contractors, consultants, property managers, business owners, and end users.
- Staying informed on emerging IT, security, access control, surveillance, structured cabling, and communications technologies.
- Monitoring market trends and competitive activity to identify new opportunities.
- Identifying opportunities to expand existing customer relationships through additional services, upgrades, and technology enhancements.
- Helping clients improve operational efficiency, security, and business performance through strategic technology investments.

Pay
Base Salary: Competitive salary plus commission based on experience
Schedule
This is a Full-Time, Exempt position requiring flexibility to meet client needs. The employees are expected to manage their time and schedule to meet the demands of the role, often exceeding 40 hours per week.
