Business Development ManagerIrvine/Laguna Woods Area (Hybrid)Shape the Growth of a Mission-Driven Consulting Firm EVALCORP is an established, woman-owned consulting firm that partners with government agencies, nonprofits, and philanthropic organizations to improve communities through program evaluation, strategic planning, needs assessments, and data-driven consulting. We're looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to lead our Business Development Division and help drive the next phase of our firm's national growth. This is more than a traditional business development role. As a member of our Leadership Team, you'll have the opportunity to shape business strategy, strengthen client partnerships, build scalable systems, and help expand our impact across public health, behavioral health, education, public safety, and other mission-driven sectors. What You'll DoLead and mentor the Business Development Division, including proposal development, marketing/campaigns, and brand expansion teams.Develop and execute business development strategies that support sustainable national growth.Cultivate relationships with government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and philanthropic foundations.Manage the firm's business development pipeline, from lead generation through proposal development and contract execution.Partner with the Contracts Team to support renewals, identify expansion opportunities, and deliver an exceptional client experience.Analyze market trends and identify new service opportunities to support strategic growth.Develop and implement SOPs, tools, and processes that strengthen and scale the Business Development Division.Serve as a key member of the firm's Leadership Team, contributing to organizational strategy and long-term planning. What We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree or MBA preferred).6+ years of business development, sales leadership, proposal management, or consulting experience.Experience with government procurement, RFP responses, and public sector business development.Demonstrated success leading teams and building strong client relationships.Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and leadership skills.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.
