About the role
The Business Development Manager for Green Summit Landscape Management is responsible for securing new maintenance and enhancement/irrigation accounts to meet sales goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develops a target list of potential clients and contacts them to build relationships and qualify business opportunities.
- Coordinates with operations, design, and other sales team members to fulfill client requirements and provide proposals.
- Prepares marketing materials and presentations for client meetings and events.
- Attends professional networking events and maintains a LinkedIn profile to connect with potential clients.
- Maintains relationships with key clients, follows up as needed, and creates Work Orders through the TRIMM app.
- Secures signed contracts for new maintenance accounts, fills out start-up packets, and schedules hand-offs with Account Managers.
- Manages difficult customer situations professionally and responds to management direction promptly.
- Ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent and reports any new sales updates at weekly meetings.

Qualifications
- Education: A 4-year college degree or equivalent is required. A Business or Landscape Management degree is preferred.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in Windows 10 and later editions, and Microsoft Office applications with a typing speed of at least 65 words per minute.
- Physical Demands: Regularly sits, reaches, talks, hears, lifts up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lifts up to 35 pounds. Must be able to stand and walk frequently.
