Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and revenue growth.
- Develop customer profiles and create targeted customer outreach strategies.
- Analyze customer needs and industry trends to identify new business opportunities.
- Foster and grow relationships with existing customers to increase sales and customer loyalty.
- Develop and execute pricing strategies to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers and partners.
- Identify and cultivate key customer relationships, lead customer meetings, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Monitor customer feedback, customer satisfaction, and customer loyalty.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to potential customers.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure effective customer relationship management.
- Maintain customer information in Salesforce.
- Provide timely and accurate reporting on customer activity, sales results, and industry trends.
- Support the customer service team in resolving customer issues.
- Develop and implement effective sales and marketing plans to achieve sales goals and increase market share.
- Design and execute a sales plan to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and relationship-building.
- Attend industry trade shows and events to promote the company and its products.
- Analyze market trends and gather customer feedback to inform product development and sales strategies.
- Negotiate and close sales deals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure business development efforts align with company goals.
- Achieve sales targets and quotas.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of the building materials industry and customer needs.
