What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute a territory growth strategy focused on new customer acquisition.
  • Identify, prospect, and secure new commercial HVAC service and preventative maintenance agreements.
  • Generate leads through networking, cold calling, referrals, industry events, and strategic outreach.
  • Conduct facility assessments and identify opportunities for maintenance, repairs, equipment upgrades, and energy-saving solutions.
  • Build relationships with facility managers, property managers, building owners, engineers, and executive decision-makers.
  • Present customized service and maintenance solutions that reduce downtime, improve system reliability, and control operating costs.
  • Collaborate with service, controls, and project teams to develop solutions that address customer needs.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting through CRM tools.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed sales goals related to new contract revenue, gross margin, and customer growth.
  • Represent Legacy Mechanical and Crete United professionally in all customer interactions and industry events.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of successful business development or outside sales experience in HVAC, mechanical services, facilities services, building systems, controls, or related industries.
  • Proven track record of generating new business and closing service agreements.
  • Strong prospecting and relationship-building skills with the ability to develop new accounts from the ground up.
  • Consultative sales approach with the ability to identify customer challenges and communicate value-driven solutions.
  • Technical understanding of HVAC systems, mechanical equipment, building automation systems, and preventative maintenance programs.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Experience utilizing CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $85,000 – $110,000 annually
