About the role
CapsLock builds long-term marketing solutions for large partners. We focus on becoming a permanent marketing partner for our clients across various industries including insurance, senior care, healthcare, wellness, and beauty. This role is crucial for expanding our reach into new markets.
Responsibilities
- Research target industries and companies with the growth team and a dedicated researcher.
- Identify key decision-makers and run creative, multi-channel cold outreach through email, LinkedIn, phone calls, and other non-standard methods.
- Build smart sequences (7+ touchpoints) for outreach efforts, focusing on quality over quantity.
- Book meetings with potential clients, aiming for at least half of the targeted companies to be reached via a call.
- Attend 4-6 industry conferences annually to network, gather insights, and share findings with the launch and CRO teams.
- Work closely with the launch and CRO teams to refine messaging and ensure pipeline and CRM data are accurate and up-to-date.
Requirements
- 5-7+ years of experience in business development/client acquisition, particularly with heavy cold outreach.
- A book of business you built from scratch, with measurable results such as open rates, reply rates, and booked meetings.
- Expert-level proficiency in LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Hands-on experience with a sales CRM/outreach platform like Apollo, Outreach, Salesloft, HubSpot, or Salesforce.
- Proven ability to use multi-channel prospecting techniques, including sequences and creativity.
- A mature, strategic, and process-driven mindset with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Based in the US or Canada, able to work EST hours and travel to conferences.
