About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our Dealer Development Manager Team Lead. Your primary responsibility will be to manage network changes in the US, contributing to the organization's expansion of the dealer network. You will be responsible for bringing on new dealers and growing BRP's presence.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, develop, and validate market analysis to ensure representation in the right areas.
  • Possessing project management skills, evaluate prospects including on-site assessments of dealership operations, processes, and financial health.
  • Summarize and report progress, findings, and recommendations to management.
  • Activate new BRP dealerships according to set targets.
  • Execute strategic plans.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in dealership operations, preferably at the manager level or above, or 3+ years of District Sales Manager experience at BRP.
  • Understanding of an OEM and dealer network relationship dynamics.
  • Project Management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Initiative: Demonstrated track record of initiating and successfully implementing projects or ideas.
  • Interpersonal skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a variety of individuals and departments.
  • Travel: Up to 50-60% travel required.

Preferred

  • 2+ years of management experience in a dealership setting.
  • Critical Thinking.

Skills

  • Required: Project Management skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, initiative, interpersonal skills, travel.
  • Preferred: Critical Thinking, 2+ years of management experience in a dealership setting.

Pay

The compensation for this role is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

This position requires up to 50-60% travel and being on site 3 days per week in Plano, TX.

Qualifications

The selected candidate must reside within Plano, TX and be willing to relocate at their own expense.
