Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Grow and retain existing customers by deepening relationships, identifying expansion opportunities, and driving targeted growth and program launch activities.
- Proactively pursue and acquire new strategic customers by promoting the value of our solutions and attacking new business in the assigned territory or segment.
- Develop and manage a pipeline of potential customers through follow-ups, networking, prospecting, cold calling, customer referrals, self-generated leads, community involvement, and other innovative business development methods.
- Directly manage and grow assigned accounts, including emerging and key accounts, focusing on targeted growth activities and program launch management.
- Track program timelines and coordinate related events.
- Introduce and promote new products and solutions through joint selling initiatives.
- Provide sales-oriented technical consulting to support customer needs.
- Introduce, support, develop, and optimize new and existing logistics systems, including customer inventory management systems.
- Collaborate with the Director of Sales to establish sales targets and performance metrics.
- Conduct market intelligence gathering and competitive analysis to inform strategy.
- Provide regular progress reports on business development and account activity and outcomes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience
- Five+ years of outside sales, business development, or account management experience, preferably in the fastener industry.
