Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate Barco technologies effectively to end-user accounts and conduct on-site product demonstrations, highlighting operational and financial differentiation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local channel partners to expand Barco’s presence and business opportunities
- Achieve regional sales targets and manage opportunities throughout the full sales cycle (from discovery to close)
- Communicate the company’s value proposition clearly to key decision-makers
- Possess a proven track record of prospecting and generating new business through activities such as cold calling, opportunity evaluation, product presentations, and negotiation
- Research organisations and individuals to identify new leads, markets, and decision-makers
- Develop new customer relationships while strengthening existing accounts through collaboration with sales and service teams
- Present technical product features, benefits, and value propositions to various stakeholders within enterprise customers
- Manage the sales pipeline and forecasting activities using CRM tools, and execute territory channel plans in collaboration with the wider organisation
- Perform regular travel to customer sites, meetings, and events, including product demos and support activities
Your Profile
- Experience in IT/AV or capital equipment sales; familiarity with software-based, wired and wireless enterprise solutions is preferred
- At least 3 years of B2B business development or sales experience in a complex sales environment with quota responsibility
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and demonstrating technical products effectively
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, including telephone-based engagement
- Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Willingness to travel up to 75%, primarily within the region, with occasional broader travel
- Completion of professional sales training is considered an advantage
- Ability to handle physical aspects of the role, including equipment handling (up to 50 lbs), on-site demonstrations, and travel requirements
- Capability to work in an office environment with standard physical activities and comply with health, safety, and security protocols
