What You’ll Do as a Business Development Representative

  • Research, identify, and analyze growth opportunities in assigned markets and territories.
  • Achieve agency-defined growth goals for selected accounts in partnership with operations leadership.
  • Maintain and organize weekly calendars, call activity, territory planning, and account development using company systems.
  • Manage time and territory efficiently to maximize productivity and visibility.
  • Communicate consistently and effectively with operations staff in all assigned markets.
  • Build strong relationships with referral sources, community partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about healthcare, hospice care, payor changes, and market trends.
  • Uphold company policies and procedures and demonstrate integrity in all actions.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training and work experience.
  • Successful sales experience with similar customers; hospice or related healthcare experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Familiarity with hospice services, referral sources, and payors.
  • Ability to work independently, build relationships, and manage a territory effectively.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and active auto insurance.
