Business Development Intern – Summer/Fall 2026

What you'll actually do

• Help us bring used laptops in the door, so that we can continue to train our robots and make them faster, more reliable, and generalizable.
• Research organizations that retire large volumes of laptops each year.
• Identify the right people inside these organizations and open conversations.
• Build the target list and draft outreach materials.
• Work with email and LinkedIn to schedule meetings on Rupesh Jeyaram’s calendar.
• Start running meetings yourself as you gain experience.

Who we're looking for

• You've done some version of sales, fundraising, or persuasive outreach before — a product, a nonprofit, a cause you cared about. You know what “no” feels like and you keep going.
• You’re a strong writer. Cold emails, LinkedIn notes, and follow-ups are most of the job, and good ones get replies while bad ones don’t.
• You genuinely care about climate, digital equity, or both. The work has a long feedback loop, and the people who thrive here are the ones who believe in where it's going.
• Bonus: any exposure to enterprise IT, sustainability reporting, procurement, or the circular economy.

Logistics

• In-person at our Brooklyn NYC office.
• Paid.
• 10–12 weeks, flexible start.
• You’ll work directly with Rupesh Jeyaram (CEO).
