About the Role
This is a remote, unpaid internship running approximately one semester at 8 to 12 hours per week. The Business Development Intern will support day-to-day growth and partnership activities, working directly with the founding team on products used by students at their own schools.
Responsibilities
- Identify and reach out to student organizations, clubs, and campus creators.
- Maintain an organized record of conversations with student leaders and organizations.
- Research universities for future launches.
- Support campus launch campaigns and events.
- Build and maintain relationships with student leaders and campus ambassadors.
- Share findings with the team to inform expansion decisions.
- Participate in regular team discussions.
- Take on work in adjacent areas based on interests and experience.
Responsibilities are adjusted based on the intern's interests and experience, and the schedule is designed to accommodate coursework.
Qualifications
- Interest in partnerships, growth, student communities, and early-stage products.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to write clear, persuasive outreach messages to a student audience.
- Comfort with direct outreach and follow-up.
- Familiarity with campus organizations or student groups is beneficial.
- Ability to write in both Chinese and English is beneficial.
- Basic analytical skills and an organized approach to tracking outreach and follow-ups.
- Proactive working style.
- Enrollment in or recent completion of a program in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, or a related field is preferred but not required.
