Business Development Intern

About the role

Yank Technologies, Inc. is a wireless power startup in Brooklyn, New York developing long-range, high-power wireless charging technology. Our patented antenna and amplifier advancements in resonant inductive technology provide a safe, simple, contact-free solution for variable power and distance requirements. We serve automotive, industrial, and space customers with applications such as wirelessly charging robotic vehicles and vehicle interior electronics.

The Business Development Intern will support the business team with digital marketing, logistics planning, and administrative tasks while gaining hands-on experience in business development and marketing for wireless power products across multiple industries.

Responsibilities

• Support website and newsletter marketing for notable company milestones and events
• Assist with social media planning and scheduling content across platforms using tools like Buffer, Hootsuite, and Later
• Coordinate travel arrangements, event bookings, and shipment of materials such as crates and promotional items
• Research and compile targeted media lists to support press release distribution and outreach efforts

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications
• Prior experience in digital marketing
• Strong communication, organization, and coordination skills
• Ability to work independently and operate in a fast-paced environment

Skills

• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or similar tools
• Prior experience in event coordination and logistics
• Experience with motion graphics or video editing
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS or web design principles
• Illustration skills or hand-drawing abilities
