Job Overview

Compensation: $150,000 – $200,000/year + bonus
Location: New York, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute growth strategies to cultivate new institutional investor relationships and expand existing client partnerships.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective and existing investors while maintaining strong long-term relationships.
  • Lead the sales process from prospecting through onboarding, delivering presentations, proposals, and investment solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Monitor industry trends, investor demand, and competitive developments to identify opportunities and support business growth initiatives.
  • Partner with investment, research, operations, and client service teams to deliver a seamless investor experience.
  • Represent the firm at meetings, conferences, industry events, and investor presentations while supporting ongoing fundraising efforts.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: 5–10 years of experience in business development, institutional sales, investor relations, fundraising, or relationship management within alternative investments or financial services is required.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of private equity, private credit, real assets, hedge funds, and institutional investment strategies is required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM platforms, investor databases, and presentation tools is required.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong relationship-building, communication, presentation, negotiation, and business development skills with the ability to manage complex client relationships and drive revenue growth are required.
  • Travel: Willingness and ability to travel extensively to support client meetings, conferences, and business development activities is required.
