Responsibilities
- Oversight of incoming leads for the sales department
- Generation of appointments and quotes through proactive outbound prospecting and lead activity management
- Qualifying and marketing potential customers
- Attracting potential clients and retaining current clientele by answering product and service questions via phone and/or internet
- Contributing to high scores for the manufacturer’s customer satisfaction index (CSI)
- Directing customers to product information resources, including those available online
- Checking email frequently and responding to inquiries immediately
- Making outbound sales and unsold follow-up calls
- Being available to respond to phone and email inquiries professionally and promptly
- Maintaining and exceeding monthly and quarterly sales goals
Qualifications
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills
- Self-motivation and goal orientation
- Ability to meet and exceed sales quotas and closing percentages
- Willingness to undergo a drug screen before employment
- A clean and valid driver’s license
