Responsibilities
- Oversight of incoming leads for the sales department
- Generation of appointments and quotes through proactive outbound prospecting and lead activity management
- Qualifying and marketing potential customers
- Atraction of potential clients and retention of current clientele
- Answering product and service questions via phone and/or internet
- Contributing to high scores for the manufacturer’s customer satisfaction index (CSI)
- Directing customers to product information resources, including online resources
- Checking email frequently and responding to inquiries immediately
- Making outbound sold and unsold follow-up calls
- Being available to respond to phone and email inquiries professionally and promptly
- Maintaining and exceeding monthly and quarterly sales goals
Requirements
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Time management, prioritization skills, and the ability to multi-task
- Self-motivation and goal orientation
- The willingness to submit to a drug screen before employment
- A clean and valid driver’s license
