Business Development Associate, Professional Subscriptions
About the role
The Business Development Associate will join POLITICO's New Business team, focusing on driving revenue by identifying quality leads and initiating sales conversations for Account Executives. The role is based in Arlington, VA.
Responsibilities
- Possess critical insights on prospective clients to inform outreach strategies
- Connect with potential clients through inbound leads and proactive prospecting strategies, including cold-calling
- Schedule quality meetings with top-tier contacts through consistent and personalized communication
- Cook up meeting logistics and create thorough prep materials to support effective sales discussions for Account Executives
- Assist Account Executives in delivering outstanding service and an exceptional client experience throughout the evaluation process, including trial management, etc
Requirements
- 1-2 years of professional experience in customer success, sales, business development, account management, or marketing, including internships and externships
- A.B./B.S. preferred
