Key Responsibilities
- Prospecting & Opportunity Origination
- Support early-stage qualification and shaping of CGT commercialization opportunities
- Coordinate with marketing colleagues on account based marketing initiatives and related tactics
- Maintain active pipeline management and CRM documentation
- Manage assigned early-stage opportunities and coordinate handoff to senior leadership as opportunities advance
- Support long-cycle deal progression (typically 8–12 months)
- Collaborate closely with Commercial Operations, Legal, Finance, and Operations teams
RFP Strategy & Response
- Support Partner with the RFP writer and senior business development leadership to support response strategy and competitive positioning
- Contribute content and client-specific insights across specialty distribution, specialty pharmacy, hub services, and third-party logistics
- Support development of differentiated responses aligned to sophisticated manufacturer expectations
Contracting & Cross-Functional Orchestration
- Support long-cycle deal progression (typically 8–12 months) by coordinating contracting workflows across Legal, Pricing, Finance, and Operations
- Track redlines and decision dependencies while ensuring timely escalation to appropriate stakeholders
- No independent pricing or contracting authority
Internal Collaboration & Special Projects
- Collaborate closely with Commercial Operations, Legal, Finance, and Operations teams
- Contribute to BD process improvement and market intelligence efforts
Minimum Requirement
Degree or equivalent and typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience. Education Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required. Advanced degree (PharmD, RN, MS, MBA) strongly preferred.
Critical Skills
- Experience supporting direct engagement with biopharmaceutical manufacturers preferred
- Experience participating in client-facing commercial discussions strongly valued
- Exposure to specialty pharmacy, specialty distribution, patient support services, third-party logistics, and/or cell and gene therapy commercialization strongly preferred
Additional Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of healthcare delivery and pharmaceutical drug development and commercialization lifecycles
- Ability to engage professionally and credibly with manufacturer stakeholders, with guidance and support from senior leaders as needed
- Demonstrated success in prospecting, opportunity qualification, pipeline tracking, and supporting long-cycle deal progression
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience contributing to complex RFP responses
- Highly organized, adaptable, and effective in cross-functional, matrixed environments
- Advanced scientific or clinical fluency is a meaningful advantage
Travel
Up to 20% travel for client meetings, conferences, and internal collaboration.
