About the role
The Business Development Associate will support proposals, customer engagement, conferences, strategic growth initiatives, and day-to-day business development operations for Easy Aerial, a fast-growing defense technology company.
Responsibilities
- Support business development efforts across defense and government opportunities.
- Cook up proposal submissions, compliance tracking, formatting, and writing support.
- Assist with lead generation at conferences, trade shows, demonstrations, and customer meetings.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and opportunity tracking.
- Care for CRM activity, customer communications, and pipeline organization.
- Couple with internal teams from engineering, operations, and leadership to meet customer needs.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in business development, proposals, sales, operations, government contracting, or related fields.
- Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Comfort operating in fast-paced and highly dynamic environments.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Willingness to travel periodically for conferences and customer engagements.
- U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person.
Preferred Qualifications
- Military or veteran background.
- Experience supporting proposals or defense industry operations.
- Interest in autonomous systems, aerospace, robotics, or defense technology.
