About the role

Hecker Fink LLP is seeking a Business Development and Marketing Manager to support the firm's marketing and business development strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Director of Business Development and Marketing to advance and refine a marketing and business development program.
  • Support the development, tracking, and execution of individual attorney business development plans.
  • Leverage AI, CRM data, and reporting tools to improve efficiency and insight.
  • Maintain and monitor business development activity through the firm’s CRM platform.
  • Develop, maintain, and update marketing collateral, website content, and other client-facing materials.
  • Conduct targeted business development and client research.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and submit legal directories and industry awards.
  • Manage department projects, including onboarding materials and external positioning.
  • Plan and execute internal and external events.
  • Identify and evaluate sponsorship, speaking, and visibility opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the team on various initiatives.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of five (5) years of prior law firm business development and marketing experience, preferably supporting litigation teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree required. J.D. or advanced degree a plus.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Advanced knowledge of AI-enabled tools for research, drafting, analysis, and process optimization.
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail skills.
  • Ownership, initiative, and teamwork skills.
  • Organization, project management, and flexibility.
  • Confidentiality and mission orientation.
