Business Development Analyst
About the role
As a Business Development Representative reporting to the Business Development Manager, Americas, you'll play a critical role in generating qualified pipeline and accelerating growth across global financial institutions for Nasdaq FinTech solutions. You bring strong communication skills, a global mindset, and a passion for financial services, technology, and building meaningful customer relationships.
This position will be located in New York and offers a hybrid work environment with at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change.
Responsibilities
- Generate qualified sales opportunities through outbound prospecting and inbound lead qualification across target financial institutions.
- Execute account-based prospecting strategies by identifying key stakeholders, business priorities, and growth opportunities within assigned accounts.
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer challenges, objectives, and buying processes.
- Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Partners, and Solution teams to drive pipeline creation and support revenue growth.
- Maintain accurate CRM data, track activities, and continuously optimize outreach strategies to improve performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales Development, Inside Sales, or Enterprise Prospecting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to research, qualify, and prioritize opportunities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using CRM and sales engagement tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling enterprise SaaS, FinTech, capital markets, banking, risk, compliance, or regulatory technology solutions.
- Understanding of financial institutions, capital markets, or broader financial services ecosystems.
- Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, SPICED, Challenger, or similar frameworks.
Pay
The base pay range for this role is $71,000 - $121,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skill set, experience, education/training, business needs, and market demands.

In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive) and equity (long-term incentive).
