Summary/Objective
The Business Developer will play a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving the growth of our company. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication and negotiation skills, coupled with a deep understanding of Mullin.
Responsibilities
- Elevate Mullin's reputation and strategically increase market share through targeted initiatives.
- Spearhead lead generation efforts to uncover new and lucrative business opportunities.
- Transform generated leads into appointments and successfully convert target customers into long-term clients.
- Collaborate with account managers to effectively communicate with existing clients and address their needs.
- Actively contribute to the success of the entire team, assisting with diverse tasks such as marketing development efforts.
- Generate comprehensive weekly sales reports.
- Prospect and cultivate business through networking activities and referrals from current clients.
- Host engaging activities for both prospective and existing clients, such as lunch and learns and social outings.
- Communicate market-driven needs to the marketing team, leveraging resources for maximum impact in the assigned market.
- Use CRM, Microsoft Office Suite, and other apps/tools for organizing leads and estimates.
Requirements
- Drive and self-management capabilities are a must.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as other graphic skills.
- Effective time management.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, math skills, and organizational skills.
- Customer service skills and proper phone etiquette.
- Valid driver’s license.
