Job Summary

Now Courier is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Independent Contractor to service a dedicated distribution route within our established South Bend, IN operation. This is a consistent, revenue-generating opportunity that accepts any qualifying vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Deliver with Clockwork Precision: Ensure cargo is picked up and delivered to valued customers on time, maintaining NOW Courier’s reputation for reliability and punctuality.
• Route Mastery: Plan and follow efficient routes using GPS or mapping software, ensuring timely deliveries and optimal fuel usage.
• Exceptional Customer Service: Greet customers professionally and handle inquiries or issues with empathy.
• Problem Solving Skills: Quickly adapt to challenges like traffic delays or address changes to ensure smooth deliveries.

Route Details & Schedule (South Bend Area)

• Compensation: Guaranteed $125 per day (Average weekly commission: $500).
• Schedule: Tuesday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
• Required Vehicle: Any qualifying vehicle.
• Weekly Mileage: Approximately 480 miles.
• Daily Stops: Approximately 25.
• Geographical Area: Notre Dame, Niles, Buchanan, Berrien Springs, Benton Harbor, Coloma, Saint Joseph, Sawyer, Stevensville, Three Oaks, with occasional stops in Edwardsburg.

Requirements

• Vehicle Requirements: Any qualifying vehicle suitable for route work, must be 2016 model year or newer.
• Age: At least 21 years old.
• Vehicle: Must pass a multi-point inspection and be suitable for delivery.
• Smartphone: Capable of running the driver app.
• Licensing & Insurance: Valid driver’s license and commercial insurance with a minimum of $300,000 combined single limit liability.
• Pre-Employment Screening: Successful completion of a Driving History Review, Criminal Background Check, and Substance Abuse (Drug) Screening.
