Business & Data Analyst

Overview

Business and Data Analysts work closely with data engineers, data scientists, and business teams to design analytics solutions, implement advanced algorithms, and evaluate the performance of use cases. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, inquisitive, and creative, with a strong desire to solve real-world problems using data.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale trusted data products that power performance measurement across sales, incentives, and payments while promoting best practices, strong governance, and a high bar for data quality and reliability.
• Gather requirements, develop a rich understanding of required data, facilitate the design of deliverables, partner with technical and business stakeholders, test, and implement the solution.
• Provide support to the users and overall project coordination.
• Partner across Sales, Brand, and Finance teams to align data across sales, incentives, and vehicle payments, and support successful adoption through knowledge transfer and change management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or Operations Research)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data analysis roles
• Strong technical skills with SQL for data analysis
• Excellent quantitative and qualitative skills and the ability to evaluate processes and data objectively
• Strong problem formulation, problem-solving, and analysis skills
• Success in implementing projects and driving change management
• Able to collaborate with external data partners, agencies, and vendors
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience analyzing incentives and vehicle payments data, highly preferred
• Experience in brand management, production sales or media-focused environment is desired
• 3+ years of automotive experience
• Comfortable working in a cloud environment
• Experience with visualization tools such as Qlik, Power BI, or Tableau
